About Digital Jewels Scholarship 2024 Overview
The recipient of the Digital Jewels Scholarship 2024 will receive a cash prize of N200,000 to support their pursuit of an undergraduate degree.
The Digital Jewels Scholarship is administered by Digital Jewels Africa, aiming to become Africa’s trusted advisor in the growing knowledge economy by offering high-quality training, e-learning, and specialized recruitment services.

Through the Dj Cares Scholarship, Digital Jewels Africa aims to provide career guidance to both experienced and inexperienced professionals, helping them develop skills relevant to the information age.
This scholarship is part of the DJ Cares initiative, which aims to reduce the number of students at risk of dropping out due to financial constraints and to encourage academic excellence.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for the 2024 Digital Jewels Scholarship, applicants must:
— Be pursuing an IT-related course of study, specifically Computer Science (single or combined degree), Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
— Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.75 out of 5 each semester since university enrollment.

— Be no older than 23 years by October of the application year.
— Have completed at least 2 years in university.
— Demonstrate proficiency in English language (oral and written).
— Provide two credible references, one of which must be from their current institution such as the H.O.D or Dean.
Digital Jewels Scholarship 2024 Benefits
Selected applicants will receive N200,000 to support promising but financially disadvantaged students pursuing an IT career.
In addition to the scholarship, there will be opportunities for placement by Digital Jewels during holidays, designated industrial training periods, and youth service.

Digital Jewels Cares also aims to provide career guidance to help professionals, both experienced and inexperienced, develop skills relevant to the information age.
Required Documents
Students who meet the eligibility criteria must write and submit an essay of no more than 500 words on one of the following three topics:
- Balancing innovation and security: The ethical dilemma of AI-enabled deepfakes in information technology and its implications for information security.
- Tech literacy and its importance in the 21st century: Analyze the significance of tech literacy in today’s world and its impact on personal growth and opportunities.
- My digital footprint: Understanding the impact of my online presence, reflect on your online activities and discuss how your digital footprint can influence your future education and career prospects.
