Introducing the Agip Exploration (NAE) Postgraduate Scholarship Program.
NAE Postgraduate Scholarship Program, Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE) Limited representing the NNPC/NAE PSC, is dedicated to training and developing human resources as a component of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
In line with this goal, NAE is inviting applications from qualified and interested Nigerian graduates for the 2024/2025 Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme. The award is divided into two categories:
- Overseas – for studying at a reputable university abroad.
- Local – for studying at a recognized university in Nigeria.
To be eligible for the 2024/2025 NAE Post Graduate Scholarship Award scheme, applicants MUST:
- Hold at least a Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university.
- Have gained admission to a Nigerian or overseas university (depending on the category applied for) for a one-year Master’s Degree program in any of the listed disciplines below.
Applicants must meet the following criteria: - Be under 28 years old by December 31st, 2024.
- Successfully completed the one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Hold an international passport valid for at least one year from September 2024 (required for the overseas category).

Course of Study:
Applications are invited exclusively from candidates who have received an offer of admission in the following fields:
- Geosciences
- Engineering: This includes, but is not limited to, the following specializations:
- Petroleum Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Subsea Engineering
- Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Marine Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Law (Oil and Gas/Petroleum)
Only those with confirmed admission offers in these specified disciplines should consider applying.

- Only shortlisted candidates will receive communication regarding the aptitude test.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the qualifying test details via SMS text and Email (Please ensure to provide valid email and phone contacts).
Employees of NAE and its affiliate companies, as well as their dependents, are ineligible for this scholarship. Individuals who have previously received similar awards from NAE, its affiliate companies, or agencies are also ineligible. Please carefully review the instructions before beginning the application to prevent errors and disqualification. Strict adherence to the above guidelines is mandatory.
