Eligibility Criteria:
The Robert and Christina Danziger Scholarship is open to applicants who meet the following criteria:
– An exceptionally talented student from Africa, primarily from Ghana or another West and Central African nation.
– Have demonstrated academic excellence.
– Intend to apply to Heidelberg University’s Master’s program in one of the following fields: Geography, with a focus on Geoinformatics, or Political Science.
You plan to relocate to Heidelberg University in Germany to pursue an on-site doctorate, or you already reside there while enrolled in a language course to achieve the required language proficiency.

Duration of the Robert And Christine Danziger Scholarships 2024:
The scholarship typically covers 2 semesters. An extension may be granted upon request if all criteria are fulfilled (academic achievement, financial need, availability of funds) for a maximum of 2 additional semesters.
How to Apply for the Robert And Christine Danziger Scholarships 2024:
Submit your application documents via email to danziger_stipendium@uni-heidelberg.de. Throughout the application period, ensure you provide the following documents:
Signed application form
Official university diploma qualifying for a doctorate (original certificate) with final grade, along with an official translation in German or English.
Provide an official conversion of the diploma to the German grading system.
If your university diploma is unavailable by the application deadline, you may submit a provisional certificate from the university confirming your academic performance thus far, ideally with grades for all examinations taken.
This certificate should indicate your expected completion of your course of study by the start of the semester following the application period. Please be aware that you must submit your missing certificate by the start of the lecture period.
