Applications are currently being accepted for the KIC Young Farmer Business Academy.
The KIC Young Farmer Business Academy (YFBA) is a 4 to 7-month program designed for young individuals interested in establishing an agribusiness in agricultural production.
The program offers participants a structured curriculum of training, workshops, and hands-on experience to establish their own farms.

Practical sessions, field demonstrations, coaching, and mentorship are utilized to inspire participants to explore agri-production and related sectors, identifying areas with potential business opportunities.
The agribusiness training program is competitive among teams formed by individuals accepted into the program.

Requirements:
To join the KIC Program, participants must be:
– Between 18 and 35 years old (18 to 24 is preferred)
– Interested in expanding and operating their farming activities as a business
– Able to dedicate up to 12 days a month to training sessions, etc.
– Resident in Ghana throughout the program
– Willing to devote dedicated and undivided attention to the YFBA Program
– Willing to collaborate in a group
– Able to work independently without sAreas of interest to be considered:
– A strong eagerness for learning and training
– Genuine interest in launching a business in the agricultural sector
– Willingness to co-found the business with a team met through the YFBA program
– Understanding of innovation, its business advantages, and potential opportunities
– Possession of research and analytical skills
– Possession of creative and innovative ideas
– Demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesupervision.
