Introducing the UCT GSB Solution Space E-Track 2024
Applications are now open for the 2024 UCT GSB Solution Space e-Track Programme, conducted in partnership with ayoba.
This programme accelerates early-stage ventures through two phases, focusing on high-impact entrepreneurs in South Africa and beyond.

It aims to help teams build scalable businesses with international potential.
Participants can develop their own business ideas or join existing ventures, and the programme facilitates collaboration with corporate partners on research and development.
E-Track consists of two phases:
— Phase one: 5-week Venture Launch course to validate venture concepts.
— Phase two: 12-week Venture Scale course to accelerate validated ventures.
Requirements:
— High impact individuals and scale-ups with solutions relevant to the African market and global potential.
— Individual participants or teams exploring new ventures.
— Prototypes or MVPs with initial market testing and demonstrated product-market fit.

This programme offers a structured approach to venture acceleration and development and market demand or opportunity.
The idea should be beyond the concept stage and demonstrate early market testing, customer engagement, revenue generation, and possibly patents or intellectual property filings.

ayoba is a messaging app designed by Africans for Africans. Startups selected for the Venture Exploitation phase receive technical support and mentorship from industry experts to accelerate their ventures.
CAPACITY BUILDING
We employ a learning-by-doing approach. Scale-ups participate in workshops and clinics to learn founder fundamentals and essential skills for advancing their businesses. They apply these skills practically in each session.
