Requirements for European Commission Blue Book Traineeship:
The Traineeship Program is open to university graduates who meet the following criteria:
— Have completed a standard 3-year higher education degree (minimum EQF level 6), equivalent to a Bachelor’s cycle. You must provide a certificate or official confirmation from your university verifying completion of this degree.

— Have not accrued more than 6 weeks of prior work experience in any EU institution, body, agency, delegation, with Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), or Advocates General at the Court of Justice of the European Union (EUCJ).
You will need to submit the following documents:
— Diplomas or certificates showing final grades clearly indicated
— Proof of meeting the minimum EQF level 6 requirement
— For administrative traineeships: Fluency in two EU official languages, with one being a working language (English, French, or German) at C1 or C2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, and the second at B2 level or higher.

— Non-EU nationals need proficiency in one procedural language at C1 or C2 level.
For the translation traineeship in the Directorate-General for Translation (DGT), you must be capable of translating into your main/target language (typically your native language) from two other official EU languages (‘source languages’):
— Your main/target language must be one of the official EU languages.
— Your first source language for translation must be a working language of the EU: English, French, or German, at C level proficiency or as your mother tongue.
— Your second source language can be any official EU language, with at least B2-level proficiency.
