The Youth Micro-Grants Program, funded by Canada Service Corps, offers youth aged 15 to 30 the opportunity to develop and implement volunteer projects benefiting their community. Participants, whether individuals or groups, can receive micro-grants up to $2000 for their initiatives. The program spans 9 months during which participants can apply for grants, design projects, attend skill-building workshops, consult with project advisors, and receive additional support.
Grants are awarded based on project proposals submitted throughout the 9-month program.
It is advisable to submit proposals by the initial deadline to maximize support and workshop participation. Grant amounts range from $500 to $2000, contingent upon the quality of proposals submitted.
