Clark University Presidential Scholarships provide funding for undergraduate international students through the highly esteemed Liberal Education and Effective Practice (LEEP) program.
Eligibility for these scholarships is based on your academic performance, as reflected in your admission application, rather than on financial need.

However, international students who are eligible for scholarships are still expected to show that they can cover a substantial portion of their educational expenses.
The Clark University Presidential Scholarship covers full tuition, as well as on-campus room and board for all four years, regardless of a family’s financial situation.

The scholarship covers full tuition, room, and board for four years. Renewal of the scholarship each year will depend on the candidate maintaining a strong academic record at Clark University throughout their undergraduate studies.
How to Apply
To apply for the 2025 Clark University Presidential Scholarship, interested and qualified applicants should:
- Apply for undergraduate admission to Clark University.
- When submitting your admissions application, you will automatically be considered for several merit scholarships. Note that the Presidential Scholarship requires a separate application, while other merit scholarships do not.
- If you are interested in the Presidential Scholarship, select this option when completing the Common Application (available after August 1).
- You will then receive detailed information, including the topics for the two short essays required for the scholarship application.
- The final deadline for submitting the essays is November 1 for Early Decision I and Early Action applicants.
- A select group of students may be chosen as finalists for interviews in January from the Early Decision I and Early Action rounds.
- A second group of finalists will be selected for interviews in March.
- All students will be notified of their scholarship status by the end of March.
Finalists are chosen based on the strength of their admission applications and other specific criteria set by the Admissions Committee.
Students will be notified if they have been selected for an interview.
