By supporting journalists from the Global South, the IGF seeks to ensure that diverse perspectives are represented, particularly those from regions with unique challenges and opportunities in digital governance.
Selected journalists will have the chance to cover a range of critical issues, including digital inclusion, cybersecurity, data governance, the digital economy, human rights online, and the ethical implications of emerging technologies.
The initiative, supported by the IGF Secretariat, is contingent on the availability of funding. It aims to foster insightful, balanced, and impactful journalism that can influence global discussions on digital governance.
