The Radboud Scholarship Programme is now open to non-EEA students with strong academic backgrounds. The Netherlands university scholarship for students globally, is a multimillion Euro program for non-EU students.
The European Economic Area (EEA) includes EU countries, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.

This Netherlands university scholarship for students globally offers financial support for students pursuing a Master’s degree at Radboud University. Also, the Netherlands scholarship will significantly reduce tuition fees for the beneficiaries.
Furthermore, eligible applicants must have a non-EU/non-EEA passport and hold a Bachelor’s degree earned outside the Netherlands.
Scholarship Overview
The programme offers a tuition reduction of up to €15,000 per year, funded by the Radboud University Profiling Fund.
In addition to the tuition discount, the scholarship covers expenses for visas, residence permits, health insurance, and liability insurance.

Prof. Hans de Wit, the programme director, explained, “We aim to support talented students who can contribute significantly to our academic community.”
The scholarship is available to students who meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Requirements
Nevertheless, to qualify, applicants must have a non-EU/non-EEA passport and be ineligible for lower EU/EEA tuition fees.
Candidates must also have a Bachelor’s degree obtained outside the Netherlands and must not hold any degrees from the Netherlands. Exceptions are degrees earned through exchange programs tied to their Bachelor’s degree.
Students must also meet English language proficiency requirements for their chosen Master’s programme. Full admission to an English-taught Master’s programme beginning on September 1, 2024, is mandatory.

Duration and Financial Benefits
The Radboud Scholarship reduces tuition fees to €2,530. For the 2024/2025 academic year, recipients will pay €2,530 instead of €17,000. Again, the scholarship covers visa and insurance costs but does not cover living expenses or other study-related costs.
“This financial assistance allows students to focus on their studies without the burden of high tuition fees,” said Wushishi.
The scholarship may be renewed for a second year if students pass all their courses in the first year.

Note, selection for the scholarship is a separate process from admission to the Master’s programme. Admission to the programme does not guarantee scholarship selection.
