Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Kiribati, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen.
Latin America: Bolivia, El Salvador, Honduras.
Other Countries: Armenia, Kosovo, Moldova, Morocco, Ukraine.
Eligibility Criteria for Eric Bleumink Research Grants
To qualify for the Eric Bleumink Research Grants, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Academic Admission: Candidates must have received conditional admission to a master’s program at the University of Groningen. For a list of available programs, please visit the official webpage linked below.
Academic Excellence: Applicants should demonstrate outstanding academic performance, supported by letters of recommendation from previous institutions. A strong academic record in undergraduate studies is essential.
English Language Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate excellent English language skills, meeting the admission requirements of their chosen program.
Availability: Candidates must be available for the entire duration of the program and able to fully participate in all academic activities.

How to Apply for the Eric Bleumink Research Grants

This requires submitting a complete application for the desired program by December 1, 2024. Applications submitted after this date may not allow sufficient time for review.
- Nomination Process: The University of Groningen Admission Office, in collaboration with the admission boards of various faculties, will review all applications and select candidates for nomination for the Eric Bleumink Research Grants. Only those who receive a conditional admission offer by February 2025 will be considered for the scholarship.
