Fee Contribution: Up to €5,750 per year (including non-EU fees)

Eligibility Requirements
To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:
-Open to all ages
-Pass an online eligibility quiz
-Be affiliated with an eligible Irish university

-Hold a Bachelor’s degree for a Master’s program or a Master’s degree for a PhD
-Demonstrate English proficiency
-Provide positive academic references
-Have not failed twice in previous applications for this programme
-Pending students may apply with provisional certificates
-Hold a first-class or upper-second-class degree
-Have not previously held an Irish Research Council scholarship
-Also, secure a research supervisor
-Lastly, research topics must exclude human modification (except cancer research) and human embryo production.
