About the Concordia University Entrance Scholarships for International Students
Concordia University is now accepting applications for the Entrance Scholarships for International Students for the 2024 academic year.
These scholarships are designed for candidates applying for bachelor’s degree programs and are available for the fall admission cycle.
The selection process primarily considers academic achievements, with candidates automatically assessed for eligibility.

Successful candidates will be awarded Entrance Scholarships by the respective faculties based on their outstanding performance in Cegep or its equivalent (applicable to Canadian high school students).
Please note that receiving an offer of admission to Concordia University does not guarantee automatic selection for an Entrance Scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
— Be full-time students starting their first year of university study, having completed CEGEP, Canadian high school, college, or an equivalent program.
— Be accepted into a bachelor’s degree program.
— Students accepted into certificate programs, independent learners, or visiting students are not eligible for these awards.
Selection Criteria:
— Faculties make decisions and extend offers for entrance scholarships during the admissions process from spring to summer or until all available slots are filled.
— Most scholarship selections are made automatically and determined by academic standing.
— Schools and faculties choose applicants and notify the Financial Aid and Awards Office of their selections.
Notifications and Selection Process
Notifications are only sent to selected candidates. The selection process starts in the spring and continues through the summer.

For programs in the Faculty of Fine Arts that require a portfolio, selection is based solely on the portfolio, not on grades obtained prior to admission.

Benefits of the Award
Scholarships will be disbursed to students’ university accounts after the registration/course drop period ends and their registration is verified.

Most awards will be paid out in two equal installments, one during the Fall term and the other during the Winter term.
