About the Erasmus+ Global Mobility Exchange
Kibabii University, in partnership with NLA University College, is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Erasmus+ Global Mobility exchange program for the Spring Semester of 2025.
This distinguished program offers two positions—one in Pedagogy and one in Cultural Studies—aimed at improving intercultural competence, fostering academic collaboration, and advancing professional development through international exchange.

The program seeks to deepen understanding of European democratic values and global perspectives, aligning with the strategic educational goals of both institutions.
Program Overview
— Erasmus+ Global Mobility: This initiative supports international mobility for students and staff, encouraging educational and cultural exchanges between participating institutions.
— Collaboration Details: Kibabii University and NLA University College have formed a partnership to facilitate these exchanges, focusing on mutual enrichment and high global educational standards.

— Objectives: The program’s main goals are to enhance students’ intercultural skills, expand academic horizons, and strengthen international cooperation in higher education.

Eligibility and Application Requirements
— Academic Excellence: Applicants must have a minimum mean score of 65 and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
— Student Standing: Eligible students must be in their second or third year of studies.
— Conduct: Candidates must have no recorded disciplinary issues.
— Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required, as demonstrated by standardized test scores or successful interview outcomes.
— Passport Requirement: Applicants should have a valid passport or be in the process of obtaining one.
Specific Criteria for Each Program
Pedagogy:
— Relevant Experience: Participation in courses and extracurricular activities related to education theories and teaching methodologies.
— Intercultural Competence: Demonstrated ability to effectively engage in diverse educational environments.
Cultural Studies:
— Academic Background: Strong foundation in cultural studies, social sciences, or related disciplines.
— Community Engagement: Proven involvement in cultural or community outreach activities.
Additional Application Details:
— Prohibition of Canvassing: Any form of canvassing is strictly prohibited and will lead to disqualification.
— Application Submission: Completed applications must be sent to global@kibu.ac.ke with the subject line “Erasmus+ Global Mobility Application” by September 9, 2024.
— Selection Process: The selection process includes reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and making final selections based on the criteria. There are two available positions—one in Pedagogy and one in Cultural Studies.
Applicants should expect feedback from the recruitment panel in the last week of September 2024.
