About the MPI Europe Paid Internship
The Migration Policy Institute Europe (MPI Europe) is now accepting applications for its 2024–25 internship program.
Established in Brussels, Belgium, in 2011, MPI Europe is a nonprofit, independent research institute focused on migration in Europe and informed policymaking.
The institute offers two types of internships:
Research Internships and Finance and Administration Internships.
Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of €1310 and meal vouchers worth €8 per workday.

The internship lasts six months and requires physical presence in Brussels. There are no application fees, and IELTS proficiency is not required.
Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. This is a great opportunity to engage in impactful research and policy work at MPI Europe!

Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications for Research Internship:
— Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
— Current master’s or PhD students can apply but must be available throughout the internship.

— Interest in migration, asylum, or integration.
— Good written and oral English communication skills.
— Must be work-authorized in Belgium.
Qualifications for Finance and Administration Internship:
— Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another business-related field.
— Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
— Good written and oral English and communication skills.
Only candidates who are authorized to work in Belgium will be considered.
