Eligibility Criteria
— Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 28 years old.
— Education: Preferably, a high school diploma (grades 12).
— Commitment: Must be able to commit to a fixed-term 12-month contract.
— Employment History: Applicants should not have been permanently employed by a single employer for more than one year.
— Full-Time Studies: Attending classes full-time from April 2024 to March 2025 is not permitted during the employment period.
— Prior Involvement: Applicants should not have participated in YES program activities or maintained a registration previously.
— Travel and Lodging: Applicants are responsible for arranging their own travel and lodging if needed.
— Promotional Preference: In accordance with the Employment Equity Act, preference will be given to applicants from designated groups.
