Requirements for the American University of Nigeria Postgraduate Scholarship:
The Dean of the School of Graduate Studies determines whether an applicant meets the university’s minimum standards.
Successful applicants must be graduates of a recognized university with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 5.0 scale (or Second Class Lower Division).

In addition to fulfilling all other admission criteria, each applicant is expected to have at least one year of work experience, preferably at the mid-level or senior management level.”

Applicants to the American University of Nigeria must submit the following materials to the Graduate Admissions Office:
— A completed application form – (Download the Application Form)
— Graduation certificate with verifiable grades and the required grade point average
— Official transcripts from each university attended
— Copies of certificates from each university attended
— Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
— Evidence of payment of the application fee
— A current Curriculum Vitae
— A personal statement of purpose
— NYSC Certificate (for Nigerians only)
