About the Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition 2024
The Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition (CEC) aims to empower entrepreneurs, especially young people, to contribute to a more peaceful and sustainable world.
Participants are encouraged to submit ideas and projects with social impact and make a concrete commitment to one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
These goals tackle some of the most urgent social, economic, environmental, and health challenges of our time.

Submissions are categorized into two groups: ideas and projects. Entrepreneurs as young as 13 are invited to submit their ideas or projects for consideration in the CEC.
The competition occurs in three phases. In the first phase, entrepreneurs submit their idea or project with a brief pitch.
If their submission meets the competition criteria, they are then invited to complete courses and develop their Entrepreneurial Design.
To facilitate this process, the organizers have created a specialized Entrepreneurial Design Canvas (EDC).
After completing the courses, participants can submit their completed EDC for Phase 2.
In this phase, all ideas and projects will be published, and participants can vote and collect votes.
The 10 submissions with the most votes will advance to the third phase, where an expert jury will select the winners.

Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition Benefits
The CEC does not offer cash prizes, scholarships, or financial resources.
Instead, participants gain valuable knowledge, contacts, a business plan through the Entrepreneurial Design (if completed thoroughly), and an official certificate from Stiftung Entrepreneurship (Foundation Entrepreneurship) upon completing the entrepreneurship courses and participating in the competition.
Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition Eligibility
Entrepreneurs as young as 13 are invited to submit their ideas or projects to participate in the Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition.
Teams are welcome to register, with the requirement that each team member has their own campus account.
One team member can create the idea or project in the user area and add the other team members. This way, the same idea or project will appear in the profiles of all team members.
There is no limit to the number of team members. You can submit multiple entries as long as they address different issues.
All ideas and projects must be in English; submissions in other languages cannot be accepted.
