Introduction to the CIVICUS Digital Democracy Initiative
CIVICUS Digital Democracy Initiative is a worldwide alliance of civil society organizations and activists founded in 1993, committed to enhancing citizen action and civil society on a global scale.
The Digital Democracy Initiative (DDI), Enable and Amplify Project, led by CIVICUS in partnership with Global Focus, seeks to promote and safeguard inclusive democracy and civic space by enhancing the utilization of digital technology for civic engagement.
The project primarily assists local civil society actors operating in challenging environments in countries of the global south.
The Digital Democracy Initiative (DDI) team at CIVICUS is looking for experienced civil society organizations in Tunisia, Venezuela, Ghana, and Mozambique (one in each country) to take charge of implementing interventions related to pre-, during, and post-election activities.
