Introducing the EU Global Cultural Relations Programme 2024 for Young Creatives
Applications are now open for the 2024 Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP), the flagship training initiative of the Cultural Relations Platform.
This program offers a unique opportunity for practitioners worldwide to build meaningful connections and explore cross-cultural collaborations.

The 2024 GCRP will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, from November 25-28, 2024, and will be conducted in English.
Eligibility Requirements:
— We are looking for 40 professionals and entrepreneurs working in the cultural and creative sectors or in fields focused on creating safer societies.
Priority will be given to applicants from these sectors. Applications from those outside these fields will not be considered.
— Applicants should be aged 25-39 and have at least three years of experience in global, international, or cross-cultural collaboration.
— You can work for a public, private, or civil society organization, or be a freelancer.
— You must commit to the program from November 25-28, 2024, including travel time to and from Marrakech.
Cultural and creative sector professionals include, but are not limited to:
— Architecture
— Audiovisual & Cinema
— Books & Publishing
— Cultural Heritage
— Cultural Management
— Design
— Media
— Music
— Performing Arts
— Visual Arts
Professionals working in fields creating safer societies, including but not limited to:
— Conflict and post-conflict areas
— Peacebuilding
— Mediation practices, dialogue, and education
— Post-conflict trauma healing and mental health
— Interfaith dialogue
— Human rights and rights-based initiatives
— Working with marginalized groups
— Social justice, inclusion, and resilience
— Asylum, migration, and forced displacement
— Natural disaster and climate change responses
— Actions against disinformation
Benefits
The CRP will book and pay for travel to and from Marrakech, accommodation from November 24-28, 2024, and any expenses during the program hours (such as catering).

If you choose to extend your stay in Marrakech, you will need to cover all related expenses for any additional days.
Timeline
— Mid- to late August: Selected participants are informed via email
— October: Selected participants are announced online
— Sunday, November 24: Participants arrive in Marrakech
— Monday, November 25 – Thursday, November 28: Four full days of programming
— Friday, November 29: Participants depart from Marrakech

Please note that full-time employees of our consortium partner organizations (Goethe-Institute e.V., IETM, European Cultural Foundation, University of Siena) or full-time employees of an EU institution, service, or agency are not eligible to participate in GCRP.
