About the Ewha Womans University Fully Funded Scholarships
Ewha Womans University offers generous scholarships for international students through the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) program. These scholarships cover various Master’s and PhD programs.
Eligibility Requirements
— Health: Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy for the duration of the program.
— Educational Background: Applicants must meet the educational and language requirements of their chosen program.
— Academic Performance: Applicants should have a CGPA of at least 2.64 out of 4.0 or be in the top 20% of their class in previous education.

— Age Limit: Applicants must be under 40 years old (or under 45 for academic professors from Official Development Assistance (ODA) countries).
— Current GKS Scholars: Existing GKS scholars may apply with additional requirements.
— Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of GKS partner countries, cannot hold Korean citizenship, and must not have parents with Korean citizenship.
Application Restrictions: Applicants should not apply for the GKS University Track at other universities.

Selection Process
— University Selection: Ewha Womans University will evaluate applications based on academic achievements, potential, and other criteria.
— Interview: Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an online interview.
— NIIED Selection: Successful candidates from the university’s selection process will be recommended to the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) for final selection.
— Final Announcement: Results will be posted on the official Study in Korea website.
