Introducing The ACU Member Universities Fellowships support academic and professional staff.
The ACU Member Universities Fellowships support academic and professional staff from member universities worldwide, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, skills, and ideas among members.
This opportunity is open to those partnering with an ACU member university located outside of Canada, with funding provided by Gordon and Jean Southam.

- Canada Fellowship – Inbound – Granted to a staff member of an ACU member university located outside Canada to collaborate with an ACU member university in Canada. Funded through the legacy of Gordon and Jean Southam.
- Wighton Engineering – Only available to applicants from low and middle-income countries.
- Hong Kong Jockey Club – Outbound – Granted to a staff member from an ACU member institution in Hong Kong to collaborate with an ACU member institution located outside Hong Kong.
- Hong Kong Jockey Club – Inbound – Granted to a staff member of an ACU member institution located outside Hong Kong to collaborate with an ACU member institution in Hong Kong.
- Information Technology and Computer Science – Supported by the Jacky McAleer Memorial.
What does the Fellowship offer? The Fellowship will not only provide diversity to its member universities but also broaden their perspectives and encourage innovative thinking.

Participants will have the opportunity to network with potential colleagues and mentors, thereby enhancing their career opportunities.
Additionally, fellows may receive up to 5,000 GBP per fellowship.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this Fellowship, participants must meet the following criteria:
– Be employed as academic or professional services staff at an ACU member university.
– Applicants should have an existing collaboration or identify and reach out to a collaborator at an ACU member university in a country other than their own.
