Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Mohamed Bin Zayed University Scholarships, you must:
— Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, mathematics, physics, or other relevant science and engineering majors from a university accredited or recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE).
— Have a minimum CGPA of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent.
— Submit your completed degree certificates and official transcripts with your application.
— Senior-level students may apply with an official transcript and an expected graduation letter, but must provide the official degree certificate and transcript upon admission.
— Demonstrate English language proficiency by providing valid TOEFL iBT or IELTS academic certificates, unless waived.
— For Ph.D. candidates, express a strong desire to contribute to science and humanity through cutting-edge research and thought leadership, and consider pursuing a career in academia or a research institute.
Applicants must have obtained one of the following degrees from a university accredited or recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE):
— Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degrees in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, mathematics, physics, or other relevant science and engineering fields.
Students should have a strong foundation in both applied and theoretical aspects of computer science, with a minimum CGPA of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent for both degrees.
A valid Graduate Record Examination (GRE) general test certificate is required for those applying with only a bachelor’s degree.
