Introducing the Gates Scholarship 2025
Applications are now open for the prestigious Gates Scholarship Program 2025.
Established in 2017 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, this scholarship provides an exceptional opportunity for students to pursue a bachelor’s degree at a US-accredited, non-profit college or university.
The primary aim of this scholarship is to relieve financial constraints for students, enabling them to focus on their education.

Families with limited financial resources are strongly encouraged to assist their children in applying for the Gates Scholarship for the class of 2025.
This scholarship allows flexibility in choosing a major or field of study and covers all expenses throughout the bachelor’s degree program.
Additionally, prospective applicants should note that the announcement of finalists is slated for April 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:
— Students from low-income backgrounds
— High school seniors
— Must plan to enroll full-time in a four-year undergraduate degree program
From at least one of the following ethnicities:
African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American.

Must be a US citizen, national, or permanent resident.
Must have strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
Note: The Gates Scholarship requires proof of tribal enrollment for American Indians and Alaska Natives.
Selection Criteria
Candidates will be evaluated based on:
— Outstanding academic record
— Demonstrated leadership ability through extracurricular or other activities
— Exceptional personal success skills, such as motivation and effective storytelling
Required Documents:
— Copy of most recent transcripts
— Student Aid Report (SAR), after completing the FAFSA
— CSS Profile
— Headshot photo
— Resume
— Financial Aid Award Letter
— Letter of admission to a four-year bachelor’s degree program at a non-profit, private, or public university.
