About Lab Art Prize Rome 2024 Edition
Applications for the Lab Art Prize Rome 2024 Edition are open until July 10, 2024. No applications will be accepted after this date.
At the end of the collective exhibition, one of the 12 selected artists will receive a €1,000 cash prize based on the quality and originality of their work.

The winning work will remain the property of the artist. This prize aims to support the development of art and the artist’s aesthetic research.
Monographic Catalogue
A monographic book will be dedicated to one of the finalists. Malamegi Lab, with support from the final exhibition’s curators, will curate, edit, develop, print, and distribute the book at its expense.

Approximately 100 copies will be printed, with 20 reserved for the artist. Malamegi will handle distribution to its top customers and collectors.
Eligibility Criteria for the Lab Art Prize Rome 2024 Edition
The following types of works are eligible:
– Painting
– Photography
– Sculpture
– Mixed media
– Digital
– Video
– Graphics
– Net art
– Other (all visual works that can bereproduced through a picture are allowed)
Notes:
The maximum size limit for artworks is 3 x 3 meters.
Each artwork should be presented with a picture and a description. For works composed of multiple elements, a single image should group all the elements.
