About the NCAIR-Google AI Fund: ₦100M for Nigerian
The AI Fund, in partnership with Google, has launched a ₦100 million initiative aimed at empowering 10 Nigerian startups that are harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) in their technological solutions.
AI is revolutionizing industries around the globe by driving innovation, enhancing efficiency, and creating new business models.

To tap into AI’s full potential within Nigeria, the National Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR), in collaboration with Google, is introducing this AI Fund to inspire and support the next wave of AI-driven startups in the country.
Eligibility Requirements
Company:
— Must be headquartered in Nigeria.
— Should be developing solutions targeted at the Nigerian market, with potential to scale to other African or global markets.
— Must demonstrate a solid market fit and exhibit significant growth potential.
Founders:
— At least one founder must be Nigerian.
— Founders should possess relevant experience and lead a strong team poised for success.
Technology:
— The startup’s technology should be compatible with Google products and have the potential to utilize these products for growth.

— The startup must be a core AI technology company with a live product currently available in the market.
What Startups Receive:
— Financial Support: Each selected startup will receive grant funding of up to ₦10 million.
— Technical Expertise: Startups will gain access to Google AI tools, resources, and mentorship from Google engineers.
— Network & Visibility: Participants will benefit from connections to Google’s extensive network and opportunities for global exposure.
Program Details:
— Format: The program will be conducted virtually.
— Duration: The program runs for 6 weeks, from October 2024 to November 2024.
— Application Deadline: September 25, 2024.
