Our mission is to unlock economic opportunities for women by inspiring, training, and equipping them with digital and tech skills, and connecting them to platforms where they can monetize these skills.
The TEFEM Africa Fellowship, a TEFEM initiative, aims to empower 20,000 women from African countries with crucial tech skills by 2035.

Fellowship Program:As a TEFEM Africa Fellow, you’ll gain access to top-tier tech skill education, equipping you with in-demand skills for today’s tech-driven world.
Our program will provide you with the technical skills and confidence to pursue job opportunities in the tech industry.
As a TEFEM Africa Fellow, you will receive mentorship and support networks to guide you through your learning journey and beyond.
You will also join a vibrant community of like-minded individuals, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and empowerment.
Eligibility Criteria
This year, applications are open to girls and women aged 17 to 40 for the fellowship program. Eligibility is restricted to women who are residents of Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Liberia, Burundi, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Program Duration
The fellowship program will start in September 2024. The first 3 months will focus on virtual training and developing soft skills, followed by a 3-month internship based on merit.
