About the UAL Storytelling Fellowship
Are you passionate about leveraging your creative talents to foster social change? The UAL Storytelling Fellowship Program is currently accepting applications for its 2024 cohort.
This year, we are offering up to eight fellows a comprehensive and free training program focused on Impact Production.
If you are a professional in television, fiction film, journalism, or any other storytelling medium, this is an excellent opportunity for you to enhance your skills in developing impact strategies.

What is Impact Production?
Impact Production is a specialized field that has developed over the past 18 years.
Initially emerging from the world of documentary filmmaking, it has since broadened to encompass a wide range of creative disciplines, including XR (extended reality), theater, writing, and more.
This profession focuses on creating strategies and campaigns designed to maximize the societal influence and reach of creative projects.
Our program will equip you with the essential skills to design and implement effective impact plans and campaigns.

Program Overview
The UAL Storytelling Fellowship, running from November 2024 to June 2025, includes:
Core Training: A 1-Week Impact Production Lab from November 25-29, 2024.
Mentorship: A 6-month mentoring program with monthly online sessions.
Workshops: Case studies, hands-on activities, and group sessions.
Participants will gain a comprehensive
understanding of impact production, learning how to develop strategies, reach target audiences, build partnerships, and create ethical and effective campaigns.
UAL Storytelling Fellowship Eligibility
We invite interdisciplinary professionals from various fields, including:

— Fiction and Non-Fiction Writing
— Journalism
— Theatre
— XR/Immersive/Interactive Media
— Games
— Podcasts and Audio
— Animation
— Creative Documentary and Docufiction
Applicants for the UAL Storytelling Fellowship must have a fully developed project that has not yet been launched and demonstrates clear social impact potential.
You must have the right to work in the UK, be able to commit to the entire program, and be present in London for in-person sessions.
