Introducing the Women Creating Wealth (WCW-I)
Applications are now open for the Graça Machel Trust’s Women Creating Wealth – Intergenerational (WCW-I) edition in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.

The program aims to transform Africa’s economies by providing significant support to women entrepreneurs, enabling their growth and uplifting their communities through productive exchange and collaboration among women.
Eligibility Requirements:
— Young and established women operating a business in one of the following countries at the time of application: Kenya, Malawi, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia.
— Age: 18 years and above.
— Must have completed secondary school education.
— Business must have an annual turnover between USD 10,000 to USD 500,000 or the equivalent in local currency.
— Minimum of 2 years of business experience.
— Not currently engaged in another entrepreneurship support program lasting longer than one week.

— Business currently employs at least 5 young people and shows potential for further expansion, creating additional job opportunities for youth.
— Operational business or a product/service ready for market testing with potential for growth and impact.
— Business entities can be sole proprietorships, partnerships, companies, cooperatives, or groups.
Businesses must operate within the following sectors:
Industries:
— Agriculture
— Tourism
— Manufacturing and Value Addition
— Transport and Infrastructure
— Information & Communications Technology (ICT)
— Building & Construction
— Trade and Services
— Renewable Energy/Green Energy

— Personalized support through coaching, mentoring, and technical advice
— Tools and resources development for business growth

Program Commitment:
The program lasts for 10 months:
— 5 months of blended learning: 4-6 hours per week recommended
— 5 months of aftercare: 2-3 hours per week
Upon completion of all assignments and tasks, participants receive:
— Women Creating Wealth certificate of completion
— Invitation to join the vibrant WCW business community for ongoing support and inspiration in wealth creation.
