Introducing the YALI 2025 PDE for Fellowship Alumni
Applications are now open for the 2025 YALI Alumni Professional Development Experience (PDE).
This program is designed to offer Fellowship Alumni, who have not yet participated in a PDE, a valuable chance to enhance their professional skills and network with U.S. professionals in similar fields.
The comprehensive virtual format features a blend of live, synchronous sessions and self-paced, asynchronous work.
Participants will also engage in virtual networking events and other professional development activities.

The 2025 Alumni Professional Development Experiences (PDEs) are scheduled to run from January 21 to February 28, 2025.
Participants in the Alumni PDEs will need to coordinate their schedules to accommodate synchronous (live) activities as agreed upon with their PDE Host.
However, they will not be required to take a leave of absence from work to participate fully. On average, participants should plan to dedicate approximately 10-15 hours per week to the program.
This time commitment is designed to enable participants to engage deeply in the program while balancing their personal and professional responsibilities.
Program Details
Participants in the Alumni PDE will not receive payment for their involvement.
However, they can apply for a stipend to help cover costs related to technology and other necessities that enable full participation in the program.

Although participants will be engaging in the Alumni PDE from their home communities, they will have the opportunity to connect with peers across the continent through structured programming.
This approach will help them build strong relationships within their PDE cohort.
